You see. Technology is not for everyone. Get rid of your Echos, your phones and live in a cave. Leave the privilege of technology to the actually proficient people. Sure we won't miss incompetent users anyway, there's too many of them already. They keep using stuff they don't even understand, what do they expect? The only wrong thing I see here is that nowadays everyone feels entitled to use high tech and most people doing so have the IQ of a fish… And that's because for most people learning stinks. They just want to have stuff, without understanding it. Technically an Echo is one of the simplest networked hardware available. It's easier to check and see what's it doing than with your average phone…

My phone used to listen to me make appointments then put the information in my calendar as soon as i hung up it was there. Then i told a friend how annoyed i was and it suddenly stopped doing that. AI is terrifying to me

the Google home unit in my home recorded my conversations also I found this out in the Google home app under activity on my tablet. I mentioned it many times here on YouTube and people thought I was lying. you can hear me in my living room talking to my dogs and another recording you can hear the TV in the background.

These smart speakers are useless anyways. Not to mention, no one has privacy anyways, let's be real.

It's kind of easy to explain exactly what happened with this Amazon privacy case. It's kind of similar to when we hear conversations on a cell phone on a simple home baby monitor. But definitely different. It's very simple Amazon I saw the contact name of the person in Seattle and your contact listing I'm assuming because you do know this person an accidentally thought you meant to call that person on the other alexa unit possibly? And length the 2 units together having your conversation broadcasted to the other unit extremely far away…. I personally have had many weird things happen with my google home I have about 3 of them now all close together one sometimes answers when the other one is closer and I've even accidentally broadcast myself into the other room which is a feature of the device now I can see this being an experimental feature called so and so on there similar to the drop in purpose on Amazon view. Instead of going through Amazon view and went from Amazon Alexa to Amazon Alexa we are in a brave new world of microphones cameras and high tech electronics a very little understanding personally and ever changing algorithms and applications this stuff is bound to happen to multiple people just how automated cars can accidentally swerve off to the right and hit a car… Do robots dream of electric sheep? Simply explains the fact that we don't really know everything that happens especially with these new algorithms
