it's not a matter of company culture, if BMW, BP, Shell and other car and oil companies offer you 50 million $ to sabotage Tesla's code you're not going to be very loyal to Elon, everyone's loyal to themselves and their family first regardless of your company culture.

Tesla will surely not die. I just reviewed the new Model 3 and it is incredible! Coming from someone who isn't a massive public figure and has nothing to lose, I think the new Model 3 is the biggest advancement in cars since forced induction and A/C! It truly is remarkable. If I had the money I would buy one yesterday.

No, they just have massive software and production issues so they blame an employee for sabotage.

If they can't meet the production rates for the model 3 people are going to get upset. The customers, the banks and the shareholders are going to probably panic. Could result in splittling up Tesla into 4 units. Space X to Boeing, Solar Battery operations to GE, Auto Production to GM and The Boring Company to Halliburton or Fluor. He's basically just shifting money around these divisions and it's going to cost taxpayers eventually. I say split it up if by end of the quarter we don't see Model 3 production at 5000 units a month.

This is what happens when you hold back an employee who is responsible and hard working! If an employer doesn't treat their employees fairly, i.e, no livable wage, no promotions when working hard and being responsible with their work, then you are sure going to find some of your work force retaliate against the company. People are fed up with lies, cheating and deceit from corporate America! If corporate America wants to keep good people from doing such things, then they should be treated better!!!

The one thing businesses never seem to learn: Information Security. Keep information under frequent review and auditing, not confined to one staff or department, to detect anomalies.

Sure it has its costs, but the cost of such incidents can be… steeper than short-sighted admins can think.

Where were all you electric fans when Stan Meyer drove his car across the country on Water back in the 70's. Also the hydrogen Corvette of Bob Lazar, or the world famous GEET engine of Paul Pantone. These were the true heroes. Electric cars do absolutely nothing for the environment, after you account for the production and disposal of the batteries. Even biodiesel is a far better choice but youl'd rather pay $100 for some kinda of novlety or social high ground. So pathetic.

I hate to say it but the employee is probably telling the truth. A Tesla just burst into flames standing still. Tell me it had a bad battery (one of the employees claims). Would not surprise me if their "scrap" is not being stored safely.

And when you take a minute to think about it… You stop wondering why companies are switching to fully automated manufacturing.

Isn't that why you have a good QC department and really strict protocols? Don't tell me that my car is subject to the whims of some propeller-heads.
No really… if this is so don't tell me. Just have them "taken care of" – careers ruined, of course.

installing punctured lithium battery is literally nonsensical.
punctured lithium battery cell just don't work, not only that, it rendered the whole pack unusable.
it's not like the the malfunction only appears after years of use.
it stop working right away. No way they can install punctured lithium cell and hide it from customers.
