If the scene is drab/low contrast/lifeless in reality, then isn't the camera just replicating exactly what it sees, which is a good thing?

What are you going to talk about, but the look, I mean anything else it is Android. All glass, I mean who wants all glass? Maybe reviewers so they have something to talk about, but all glass just means for me to get a case to protect this thing before I even leave the store. I just never have figured out why what my phone looks like is important. I more into the technology, and even that isn't addressed anymore. Boringly all anyone seems to want to talk about is the camera, this and the camera that. Don't get me wrong I love these exceptional cameras but what good is an exceptional camera if the batter is dead? It is so basic but such a whitel elephant in today's phone reviewers. Sound is the other thing I enjoy about my phone and LG is the only phone I know that actually provides a DAC with a headphone jack, so you can plug in a great set of headphones and listen to the music that moves you. Bluetooth, as we all know, or should, was designed to connect a keyboard to a device, and now we are listening to all our music through this truly limited wireless connector. Again us consumers have allowed Apple and other technology companies dictate the sound of our music, and I just don't agree at all to this type of complete bullshit. Today phones are made for the phone companies to make a lot of profit, which I am not against, but they do it my making this customer unhappy.

Cnet is so poor at reviews, no mention of the screen tech, IPS or AMOLED. YouTubers are so far ahead in review quality.

Cameras on phones are 10x better than they were just a few years ago and they were “amazing” then.
