I’m amazed that this is a tech channel and most people in the comments can’t wrap their minds around the fact that software isn’t made out of cardboard.

I predict these things will deteriorate quickly. Your talking about kids here… one spilled item on it or greasy stick fingers… done.

Pretty stupid. $70 for a cardboard WTF. Might as well pay for 5 bucks. $5 for the effort

So back with the Wii they had one of the biggest selling game consoles ever by not making real games. Now they're selling LITERAL cardboard.

I mean if it works for them, who am I to argue?

MAKE ALL OF THE EXCUSES YOU WANT, but this is insane. Cardboard pieces you build houses and gas pedals with 😂 for crying out loud! CARDBOARD!!!!!!!!!

As someone who’s about to enter adulthood in May, I think Nintendo Labo is a very creative and original idea and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Genius. This is going to sell systems to those families with younger kids that might have been on the fence. Bravo Nintendo. It’s not aimed at adults or “hard core gamers” and that’s ok.

People keep saying "Its cardboard" um did you not see how elaborate and technical some of the inner workings were? This is engineering and its amazing what Nintendo has done. Such an intelligent concept and way to bring education to gaming in a fresh way. Good Job Nintendo A+

I know the kits will come with a game cartridge, but still… $60+ for mostly cardboard that will most likely last a few days seams a bit overpriced.
